a.k.a. Στραβός [Stravos], a.k.a. Ο Λυράρης [Lyraris], a.k.a. Μανώλης Στραβός [Manolis Stravos] Cretan artist [Singer, Writer, Cretan Lyre] born at Anogeia, Mylopotamos, Rethemnos, Crete, Greece. Son of Γιάννης Πασπαράκης [Λυραρογιάννης] Father to: Αλεξάνδρα Πασπαράκη, Γιάννης Πασπαράκης, Στεφανής Πασπαράκης and Νικολία Πασπαράκη.
He got his nickname Στραβός [Stravos] translate: Blind, because he went blind at an early age of 3 years old, due to disease, but that didn't stop him learning the Cretan Lyre by ear at the age of 10 with the help of his teacher Αντώνης Σκουλάς [Καραμουζαντώνης].
He collaborated with two great mandolin players Μανώλης Αεράκης [Μυρωμανόλης or Μυρωμανώλης] between 1935 - 1955 and Νεοκλής Σαλούστρος between 1955 - 1980.
