Nikos Aggelis (vocals, synth, rhythm box) met with Pantelis Petronikolos (guitar, bass) and Kostas Kollias (bass synth, rhythm box) while all three were attending law school in Athens, Greece. By the end of 1982 they started playing together, forming Horis Perideraio. Aggelis had already written a lot of lyrics influenced by Greek surrealist writers. After playing many shows in 1983 and 1984 they released their sole album, "Horos gia Mousiki" in 1985, and disbanded by mid-1986.

In October 1983, they supported 'Magic De Spell' at their first live appearance. On 4/2/1984 they performed live at Cine Louiza (Vyronas, Athens), along with 'Yell-O-Yell', 'Cpt Neφos', 'Teenage Dolls', 'Rehearsed Dreams', 'R.R. Hearse' & 'On Purpose'. On 13/5/1985, they played at Kyttaro (Athens), along with 'Αρνάκια' & 'Λευκή Συμφωνία'.

In 2014, the band got back together, with Lia Michailidou in the place of Kollias. Founder Nikos Aggelis passed away in June 2018, putting an end to the band. The group had finished a new record before the passing of Aggelis that came out in 2021, named "Anixi Mou".
