    School Mates (スクール・メイツ, Sukūru Meitsu) is an entertainment group originating from Watanabe Production. Established in 1963, School Mates were made up of a revolving group of students from the Tokyo College of Music, in which the female members are known for their American style cheerleader outfits, pom-poms and dance routines.
