    Kaoru Chiga, a Japanese female singer born in Kagoshima on September 25, 1948. Got her start in showbusiness as a member of OSK日本歌劇団 (OSK Revue - an all-female theatre revue troupe based in Osaka). In 1969 she received the Rookie of the Year award at the 11th Japan Record Awards.
