Alek Darson

Guitar & keyboards player from Servia. Grown up in Belgrade, Serbia, Alek DARSON is a progressive metal multi-instrumentalist and producer. He started playing music at 10 and later joined several high school bands. He got his degree from Viser College, Belgrade, as an engineer focusing in music production in 2009 but before that he had already joined Serbian progressive metal band ORGANISED CHAOS in 2005. He decided to perfect his skills in Berklee College of Music, Boston, a city which he now calls home. His first solo work is called ''Panopticon'', a 30+ minute EP which he recorded and produced in Stretch Recording Studios. It was released in November 2013. DARSON's varied sound draws influences from traditional progressive metal (DREAM THEATER), experimental metal (DEVIN TOWNSEND) but also shred and 'djent', resulting in a multi-layered result.
