The 101 Ranch Boys

American country western band, formed in Kansas City, Kansas in the 1930's, the group was based in York, Pennsylvania. The original 101 Ranch Boys were: George Long, Smoky Roberts, Andy Reynolds, and Cliff Brown. These men came to York Pennsylvania and from Kansas City, Kansas. Though the members of the group remained mostly the same, they were known at different times as The 101 Ranch Boys, Andy Reynolds & His 101 Ranch Boys, George Long And The 101 Ranch Boys, Smokey Roberts & The Ranch Boys, Cliff Brown & The Ranch Boys, Leonard Zinn & The Ranch Boys and just The Ranch Boys. Mostly they went by The 101 Ranch Boys and sometimes on recordings the featured singer was considered the leader of the group (i.e. some releases had different lead artists on side A and side B of releases).
