    At the age of five, Anna Halldorsdottir was crafting songs on the family’s pump organ. At seventeen she is writing her own songs. In 1996, Anna Halldorsdottir released the critically acclaimed, “Villtir Morgnar” (“Wild Mornings.”) For this, her first solo album, Anna received The Icelandic Music Award’s “Best Newcomer” award. In 1998, Anna’s second album, “Undravefurinn” (“The Wonderweb”) was published. Anna regularly writes music and does sound design for films. Anna currently lives in New York City, and visits Iceland often.
