British mezzo-soprano vocalist, born 12th January 1941, in Southport, Lancashire, England, died 18th May 2022, Andover, Hampshire, England.
She sang at Glyndebourne, the Royal Opera House, and the four Parisian opera houses, to name but a few. In later life she taught at the Royal Academy of Music.
