German organist
Beatrice-Maria Weinberger studied organ (with cathedral organist Prof. Franz Lehrndorfer), catholic church music and school music at the Munich University of Music after graduating from high school. In 1988 she received the sponsorship award of her hometown Coburg. After the A-examination in church music, she passed the artistic diploma examination in concert organ in 1990; afterwards she studied in the master class of Prof. Lehrndorfer, which she completed with the master class diploma. In 1993 she passed the state examination in Schumusik. Since 1988 she has been organist and choir director in the city parish of St. Philippus in Munich. In addition, she has an active international concert schedule - both as a soloist and as a duo - partnering her husband Gerhard Weinberger in concerts of four-handed organ music or music for two organs or two harpsichords. Together with her husband, she has recorded the complete organ works of Bach's most famous pupil, Johann Ludwig Krebs, on important baroque organs in southern Germany.
Wife of Gerhard Weinberger.
