Carlo D'Angiò (born 1946, Naples, Italy - died 5 September 2016, Naples, Italy) was an Italian musician and composer. He began his career playing with other musicians in the middle of the 1960's. He was the co-founder, along with [a853538] and [a1975438] of [a493551], which was a famous folk group from Naples. Their aim was to revive the musical roots of authentic Neapolitan folk tradition. He left the group in 1976 and co-founded, again with Eugenio Bennato, the ensemble [a2078946]. This group consisted of various musicians, including: percussionist [a61848] and [a389098], vocalist [a664145], saxophonist [a166897], violinist [a1285679] and [a1807215], bass player [a828195], and brass musician [a6706]. In 2011, he released an album titled "Viva il Sud!".
