Carmen Maria Cârneci

Romanian composer and conductor, born 19th September 1957 in Racila, Bacău.

She studied Composition and Conducting at the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatory in Bucharest and at the State University for Music in Freiburg i. Br. and attended master courses with Pierre Boulez and Peter Eötvös for example.
Her works consist of chamber music, concerts, symphonies, as well as cinema and stage music.
