Jace Clayton (born 18th August 1975), also known as DJ /rupture, is an American DJ. He gained popularity in early 2001 when he released his mix 'Gold Teeth Thief': ''The overwhelming response to this mix changed my life. Countless fans have told me that it changed their ideas about music, too. I posted this online for free in early 2001 and by the end of the year there were hundreds of thousands of downloads, and write-ups in places like VIBE...'' In addition to his music, Clayton went on to release a book in 2016, titled 'Uproot: Travels in 21st-Century Music and Digital Culture'.
