    Fjedur

Swedish Christian singing group with roots in Dalarna and Swedish folk music. The group emerged in the early 1970s from a small youth choir in Malung. In 1978 they traveled to South Africa and encountered black music, which was the start of a broadening of the folk music tradition that over the years was supplemented with ballads, jazz, world music and traditional choral music. During the 80s, Fjedur worked full-time and toured in several European countries as well as the USA and Canada. After ten years of silence, the group was reborn in 1996 at the Choir Meeting in Skinnskatteberg and Music at Siljan.
