    German trumpet player, composer and arranger, born 14 October 1977 in Olsberg, Germany. Since 2007 He is professor for jazz trumpet at the Institut of Music at the Hochschule Osnabrück. He studied school music in Detmold by Max Sommerhalder and afterwards jazz trumpet and composition at the Musikhochschule Köln. In 2006 he won the first award at the Hoeilaart International Contest in Belgium as the best soloist. He played in various projects with Albert Mangelsdorff, Johannes Enders, Michael Wollny, Nils Landgren, Nils Wogram, Trilok Gurtu, Florian Weber, Randy Brecker, Sebastian Sternal. Robert Landfermann, Jonas Burgwinkel, Jens Düppe.
