    Gårunt Show

Swedish show group from Köping, formed in 1961 by Bernt Dahlbäck and active during the years 1961–1970. The group had their breakthrough in 1963 when they came second in a talent show, the winners being the Hootenanny Singers. The group's lineup consisted of Bernt Dahlbäck, Gert Fridh (guitar, vocals), Tore Hellström (bass, vocals) and Tommy Holm (drums), who was later replaced by Bernt's brother Erik Dahlbäck (who remained in the group until its dissolution in February 1970). There were record recordings, tours in folk parks, performances at restaurants and parties. The shows were fast-paced and featured many imitations and parodies. Their biggest album successes include Bagarberta, Juanita Banana, Vi har ingen bananen and Syster Jane. Gårunt show disbanded in 1970 when Bernt Dahlbäck chose to pursue a career as a solo artist. A large number of musicians figured in the group over the years in addition to the above: guitarists Rune Furen, Bengt Ove Johnsson, bassists Kåre Bergman, Ulf Johnsson, Crister Norén, Lars Mohede, Bella Linnarsson, keyboardists Valter Rochat, Björn Sandkvist, Jan Anserud, Björn J:son Lindh (who also played the flute), saxophonists Tony Westerling, Roffe Bäckman, Torbjörn Eklund, Nisse Sandström, drummers Kurre Roxström, Uffe Flink and Mats Hagström on cello.
