    He was solo double bass player with Göteborgs Symfoniker, Concertgebouworkest, and Joint Principal Double Bass with the London Symphony Orchestra (2001-2002). Principal Double Bass with the Kungliga Filharmonikerna since 1990. He has been performing with The Chamber Orchestra Of Europe since 1996 and became an associate member of the Orchestra in 2010. He was a Professor of Double Bass at the Kungliga Musikhögskolan I Stockholm for fifteen years.
