    US rockabilly singer, born 23 Sept. 1938 in Illinois - died 7 July 2002 in Tennessee.

    He grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois, met and joined a group called The Twilighters as lead vocalist. Then he signed for Esta Records. In very late of 1960s/early 1970s he settled in Nashville, TN and was involved with the country music scene, mainly as engineer at studios like Soundshop Recording Studios and Jack Clement Recording Studios, often collaborating with Billy Sherrill or Larry Butler.
