Dutch singer and composer, born 10 August 1949, Amsterdam. He became well-known in The Netherlands in the 1980s as the lead singer of Drukwerk. The band disbanded in 1990, and Slinger went solo. A second incarnation of the band, named Drukwerk², was founded in 2012, including Slinger's son, Bram Slinger.
