He Said Omala

A collaboration between He Said and Omala. The album Catch Supposes was instigated in 1996 and completed in January -97. He Said is the name of one of the solo projects of Graham Lewis, former member of Wire, Wir and Dome. As a solo artist, Mr Lewis has released three albums, two for Mute Records (Hail! and Take Care) under the name He Said, and one for the Swedish label MNW Zone (Immanent) under the name H.A.L.O . He turned his hand to DJing in the band/performance unit Ocsid which also includes CM von Hausswolff and Jean-Louis Huhta (of Lucky People Center). Omala ( M. Tegnér and A. Karperyd) was one of the early Swedish "ambient/industrial" acts. Since the two full length albums, Germ (originally released on Frequent Frenzy on vinyl only, later on CD from Hyperium) and Relicon (Released by Frequent Frenzy Recordings), Omala have provided music for various performances and installations, as well as contributing to the soundtrack of a Suzanne Osten movie. They have also participated in a number of compilation albums and have been involved in various projects on the side. The fusion of these three minimalists (Lewis, Karperyd, Tegnér) has resulted in Catch Supposes, six laidback tracks. Rhythm oriented, atmospheric pieces of music with articulate and ambiguous text.
