Swedish composer, pianist and professor, born 13 December 1906 in Gothenburg, died 14 October 1981.
Liljefors was a piano and harmony teacher at the Royal Academy of Music and became a professor in 1968. He was one of the initiators of Fylkingen and its chairman 1933-1946 and chairman of FST - the Association of Swedish Composers 1947-1963.
Among Liljefors' compositions are several works for piano, a violin concerto, orchestral works and songs.

He was the son of Ruben Liljefors and the father of Inger Liljefors and Mats Liljefors.
