    Irish classical woodowind instrumentalist. Born in 1881 in Cloughjordan, Ireland - Died in 1931 or 1933.

    He was a founder member of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, in which he played cor anglais and oboe. He became first oboist and performer on the cor anglais with British Symphony Orchestra. He was a cor anglais player with the London Symphony Orchestra from 1920 to 1928.
    Father of Terence MacDonagh and younger brother of Thomas MacDonagh.
