Born September 4, 1895, Dorchester, Massachusetts, USA;
Died March 18, 1985.
Some record collectors and discographers have been uncertain as to the identity of
singer Jack Miller, who recorded for Columbia and its affiliates from 1928 to
1933. He was the same Jack Miller who served as accompanist, and later as
orchestra leader, for Kate Smith, from 1931 until 1954.
His voice can be heard on at least eighty-nine sides made during his singing career.
