Jonathan Haskell is an American double bass player from Michigan. He graduated from the University of Chicago and [l=Yale University]; [a=Joseph Guastafeste] was among Haskell's most influential teachers. In 1973, he became the youngest member of [a=Basler Sinfonie-Orchester]. Jonathan also joined [a=L'Orchestre De La Suisse Romande] in 1978 and regularly performs with Contrechamps since 1981.
