    Argentinian producer born in Buenos Aires in 1932, founder of Mandioca label in 1968, soon moving to Music Hall and Microfon.

    Álvarez helped found Billy Bond's La Pesada Del Rock And Roll. He would found Talent (4), a sublabel of Talent (4) and produced some of the most popular Argentine rock bands of the time.
    In the late 70s he moved to Spain due to the military dictatorship, becoming a famous producer with Discos CBS, S.A., Madrid and later Talent (4) reaching success with artists like Mecano, Ole Ole or Joaquín Sabina.
    Jorge Álvarez passed on July 5, 2015 in Buenos Aires, aged 83.
