British graphic designer and art director, also known as Jules.

He started his career as designer at Stiff Records in 1979 after doing three days as an art worker at [a=Hipgnosis (2)] in 1978 during the summer holidays of his second year at the London College of Printing. Beginning 1980, left Stiff to become a freelance record cover designer. Known for his work on releases of Adam & the Ants, Big Country, Blancmange, The Clash, Iggy Pop, Madness, Psychedelic Furs, Bruce Springsteen, Tears For Fears, Texas, and Transvision Vamp.

Founder and owner of Vegas Design Associates.

Frequently credited as "J.B."
