Kalle Rydberg

He made his TV debut at the age of four as a little troll in the Christmas calendar Trolltider. In his teens, he was responsible for blanket rental and broth sales at the open-air theater Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg.

In 1996, he took the stage in the play Up to Camping and was also in the musical Funny Girl the following year. This was followed by a few years of work behind the scenes, as a sound engineer and production assistant. He returned as an actor in Schlageryra in the folk park at Intiman in Stockholm in 2004 and has since had minor roles in Eva Rydberg's productions at Fredriksdal, including Hemvärnets glada dagar and Den stora premiären.

Rydberg has appeared in the films Ögonblick and Om Sara. He has also written the script for the children's play Busiga Biggan, in which his half-sister Birgitta Rydberg acted in the title role. He is active as a musician and plays drums in the pop group D.H Lawrence. Rydberg is also one half of the songwriting duo Juan Carloz and has written songs for Shebang, among other things.

He is the son of Eva Rydberg and Mats Hellqvist.
