The Re-Release of her new album is in stores now and her single, Love Can be Funny Sometimes will be on the store shelves in July of 2001. She is presently working on the video for the single and it should be airing on mainstream music video channels in September of 2001.
Kedash started singing at the age of 7 and her father recognized at that time that she had a talent for singing. He then started taking her to his studio to watch him record and arrange his music. When Kedash was 12 she recorded her first background vocals. She said she was so afraid at the time thinking that she would mess up and waist those people's studio time. However, she reports that everything went great and that she even got paid a little money for her work. A lot of studios started calling her after that to do background vocals for various artists. She says that it was a great feeling and that at that time she felt that she could be successful as a singer.

Kedash's father Carter Cornileus gained musical fame in his own right with the group The Cornileus Brothers and Sister Rose. Some of their more successful songs include Treat Her Like a Lady and Too Late to Turn Back Now which went to number 3 and number 2 respectively on the billboard charts.

Kedash also started working with various family members in the music business such as her uncle Frank and his son Frank Cornileus jr. separately and on various projects. Those projects taught Kedash even more about the music business and what was involved putting an album together.

During these tender years her own unique style was forming. Kedash reports that she would listen to and study various artists such as Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and Whitney Houston. People would tell her that she sounded like various artists throughout the years. Then at about the age of sixteen her very own unique vocal style had emerged.

Kedash was an artist with Big Ballers Entertainment for a short time. During this time Kedash recorded various songs on their compilations and soundtrack. The relationship with Big Ballers did not work out and she decided to go her own separate way. She has appeared on other works such as Kinsu's Consensual Sex, F.C.J.'s Southside and M?T's self titled album.

Meanwhile Kedash is lining up tour dates and other local appearances around the country. So be on the lookout for this very talented artist as she makes her mark on the music world.
