Swedish journalist and program leader in radio and TV, born December 6, 1941 in Solna. She came to Sveriges Radio through her aunt, the radio producer Barbro Svinhufvud, and debuted in 1958 in the radio program Tonårsträffen. She then worked together with Johan Sandström in the program Spisarparty. In 1963, she was host of Drop-In, the first music program in Sweden with pop music as its theme. In the mid-1960s, she hosted the radio program Din soldat, where gramophone wishes and greetings were exchanged between girlfriends and conscripts. She has also been a presenter for the radio programs Frukostbrickan, Ten i top, Kvällstoppen and Svensktoppen. She sat on the jury for Melodifestivalen in 1972 and worked as a TV reporter for Sveriges magasin in 1974. As a guest, she has appeared on the TV program Diggiloo and the radio program Sommar. Adams-Ray's last assignment at SR was as presenter of P2's live morning program Aurora. The music selection is a mix of classical music genres from all eras. Kersti Adams-Ray retired on 31 August 2007.
