Kerstin Ståhl

Swedish mezzo-soprano vocalist, now named Säfsund, born January 4, 1944 in Stockholm

She was married to Bengt Emil Johnson.

She attended Ingesund Academy of Music's solo singing class in Arvika 1964–1966 and the Royal Academy of Music's solo singing class in Stockholm 1968–1972. She was a freelance singer from 1971, a member of the ensemble Harpans kraft 1970–1986, participated in and was a producer for radio programs from 1972 and a teacher in the music department at Birkagården Folkhögskola 1975–1984. As a vocal soloist, mainly in contemporary music, she has completed tours in Europe, North and Latin America.
