Kyshido

Anthony ‘Kyshido’, is a London based producer and DJ.
With training in Jazz Piano and Classical Violin from the age of six, music has always been his focus. Anthony’s influences are deeply rooted in his love of Soul, Chicago House, and golden age Hip Hop/New Jack R&B with the birth of Jungle then capturing his musical direction. After years of dedication, honing his skills in the studio and on the decks, the legendary DJ Rap signed the first demo he sent to Propa Talent. Soon after, the Godfather of Drum n Bass, Grooverider, selected Kyshido’s tune “Rai” as his first track back on BBC Radio 1 in his huge comeback show with Fabio. He has been featured as ‘one to watch’ on BBC1Xtra and one of Knowledge Magazine's Producers to watch in 2013. Also a remixer in demand, having remixed artists ranging from Maxi Priest, Artificial Intelligence + Kathy Brown through to Sony band "The Milk", and Motown's Sonna Rele. Support has come from DJs ranging from Laurent Garnier to Friction on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM, Kiss and many more. Releases have so far been on respected labels like Urban Torque, LDNB, Liquid Drumz and more, covering a range of genres.
Building on these foundations, work on his debut album has begun, a song-based project covering many soul-related genres, with acclaimed rappers and singers already on board, watch out in 2014/15 as the music begins to surface.
