Italian singer and songwriter, born in Bagnara Calabra, Reggio Calabria on September 20., 1950. In her country she is regarded as one of the pop and rock music icons. The album Traslocando, produced by Ivano Fossati was rated best album by a female artist in Italy by Rolling Stone magazine. Her second marriage from 1989 to 1993 was with the famous Swedish tennis player Björn Borg. She is the sister of the singer Mia Martini.
