Swedish jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer and arranger, born August 13, 1974 in Västerås, Sweden. He went to school in Västerås Music Classes and continued his education at Västerås music gymnasium and at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. He formed his own quartet in 1997 and made his recording debut in 1999 with the Grammy-nominated Way Out. For this he received the award Jazz in Sweden in 1999. He had his big breakthrough with the album Paradise Open together with the Radiojazzgruppen. This was rewarded with Grammys, Sveriges Radio's award for "Best Jazz Music of the Year" and Orkesterjournalen's prestigious Golden Disc award. There have been several Grammy nominations and more over the years since then.
