Swedish mixed choir, Mikaeli Kammarkör (Mikaeli Chamber Choir), founded in 1970 by Anders Eby.

Anders Eby is the conductor and artistic leader of the ensemble to this day. For many years the choir was a part of the musical life of a succession of parishes in Stockholm, Sweden (Matteus, Johannes and Adolf Fredrik) before starting a new life as a free ensemble in 2018. It boasts a broad repertoire, spanning both sacred and profane, a cappella and orchestral, from the oldest to the contemporary, with a slight emphasis on challenging a cappella material from the 20th century onward.

The choir often does radio performances and has toured extensively, mostly in Europe. It has done numerous first performances of works by contemporary Swedish composers. In 1986, the choir was awarded the Swedish Gramophone Prize for its recording of Mass for double choir by Frank Martin and Requiem by Ildebrando Pizzetti.
