Milanga

A universe swinging between antique (sitar, didgeridoo) and modernity (grooves machine), a fusion where every sound call out to discovery. Milanga is a high-colored journey, enhanced with African-like singing and fusion dance. The story begins in 2009. Ben (Dôei and Basta Paï Paï former member) and Pierrot, one found of instrumental music and the other of grooves machines, decided to build up the project. Together they would explore the trance & dub music field, with Trip-hop, bringing their own vision of an eclectic music. The story goes on with “Milanga Workshop” : through collaborations, artist from all background will bring their influences to this music without borders. Violin notes, saxophone, voice, will punctuate tracks, as powerful as they are short-lived. They only stand for the pleasure of sharing. One witness of this is the album “Danse de lianes” out in 2010. Since 2011, Milanga welcomed new members : Zalem blowing out his vibrations through his didgeridoo, sometimes soft sometimes harsh, Noémie’s voice which surprises us by its power and subtility and Yshar whose tribal fusion dance bring us beyond the world.
