New Russia State Symphony Orchestra

The New Russia State Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1990 by a decree of the Russian government. Initially, it was called the State Symphony Orchestra for Children and Youth of the Ministry of Education of the RSFSR / Russian Federation (1990-1993).

Symphony Orchestra "Young Russia" = Симфонический Оркестр "Молодая Россия" (1994-2002).
From 1994 until 2002 the orchestra was led by the People's Artist of Russia Mark Gorenstein.
Since 2002, the artistic director and chief conductor of the orchestra is Yuri Bashmet. The team also performs under the direction of Evgueni Bushkov.
Also known as - State Symphony Orchestra Novaya Rossiya.
