Dutch singer and songwriter. Born on March 18, 1960. Died August 9, 2019.
During 1984-1987 she was the singer and a composer of the new wave band Cloud Nine. Their sole album ‘Waterland’ (1985) was produced by Henk Hofstede and Robert Jan Stips of The Nits.
The band contributed a song to the album ‘La Grande Parade’ (1986), an initiative of Henk Hofstede of The Nits .
In 1986 she joined The Nits as a background vocalist on their album ‘Henk’ and went on tour with them in Holland and Europe in which she also provided additional keyboards.
With ex-members of The Dutch she was part of Siobhan. In 1989 their sole album ‘Songs From The Well’ was released.
In 1997 she released under the name p’etra her first solo album ‘Shellfire’. In the same year she contributed vocals to the album ‘Tjielp Tjielp’ by Tom America.
In 2012 the EP ‘On The Road’ was released. It’s the forerunner of her last album ‘Travellers In Our Minds’ from 2014.
