Willie Hood, known as Rhythm Willie the Harmonica Wizard, was a popular African-American entertainer in Chicago, up until his death, c. 18 May 1954.
He first recorded four titles for OKeh in 1940, with a second session for Aladdin in 1947 (only one title as yet released), and two more titles for Premium in 1950.
