Ross "The Boss" Friedman is a punk rock / hard rock / metal guitar player. He was born in the Bronx, New York on January 3, 1954. As a child growing up in New York City, Ross showed great promise as a piano and violin prodigy, but when he first touched the electric guitar he knew he found his true love. He is best known as the co-founder of proto punk band The Dictators since 1973 (the band is still active) and Manowar and for playing on their first six albums from 1982 - 1988.
