    Hailing from Washington, Sharon Ridley early career featured work alongside the late producer, Van McCoy way before the later released "The Hustle" they released "Stay A While With Me" in 1971 and no singles were released from that collaboration.

    They however record a single issued with both names, the 1973 Sussex non-album single "I'm In Your Corner".
    After McCoy number hit "The Hustle", Sussex Records belatedly issued "Stay A While With Me" in 1975.
    Sharon Ridley was often credited as a music arranger and multi-instrumentalist.
    She nowadays resides in Los Angeles, California.
