Six Foot Plus

Nigerian hip-hop MC, poet, rapper and actor born April 6th, 1972 in Kaduna, Kaduna State, and based in Abuja, Nigeria, performing with lyrics in English.

Born in Kaduna with roots in the Benue State of the Idoma tribe and currently based in the capital city of Nigeria, Six Foot Plus is a pioneering artist in Nigeria when it comes to the art of rap. He began writing songs in 1987 and began working with Solo Dee in 1992 recording songs and doing shows. He eventually teamed up with El Dee, Modenine, Mr. Baron, De Weez and El-Cream to form the now cult crew SWATROOT, a group of established hip-hop artists from the Niger Delta region. In 2001 he released his debut album Millennium Buggin': 2001 on Payback Tyme Records.
