T.J. Fowler (born September 18, 1910 in Columbus, Georgia, USA; died May 22, 1982 in Detroit, Michigan, USA) was an American jazz pianist and band leader who appeared on the 'Savoy' label for a while, he then signed with Harry Balk (producer for Johnny and the Hurricanes and Del Shannon) and managed one release on the 'Bow' label. His compositions were used successfully for early Johnny and the Hurricanes tracks (Crossfire, Lazy, Rocking Goose) enabling him to set up Puff Records (2) and the publishing company Elaine Music
