Troy Nelson

Musician, radio DJ and label owner in Seattle, Washington.

Nelson grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota, then moved to Orlando, Florida to attend Full Sail and get a degree in audio engineering. He moved to New York City, where he worked at the Hit Factory recording studio and interned at Matador Records. He then moved to Seattle and interned at Sub Pop. He became a DJ at WEXP, plays in bands including Leathür Feathürs and The Young Evils, makes music as the project FirstName LastName and co-owns Killroom Records.
