Blues singer and guitarist, born 1905 in Tennessee, died 1972, who recorded for Bluebird in 1941, was recorded by the Library of Congress at Sadie Beck's Plantation in Arkansas in 1942. He settled in Detroit in 1944, working in the automobile industry. He made a handful of public appearances 1967-1971.
