Norwegian conductor, violinist, bass player, and saxophonist, born December 3, 1909 in Hamar, Norway, died January 1987 in Oslo. His Bristol orchestra lineup was the foundation for Kringkastingsorkestret (KORK) when it was created in 1946 upon Bergh's employment at NRK. He served as leader for KORK from its formation to 1976. Conducted nine Norwegian Eurovision entries in the 1960s.
