    Iraklis Triantafyllidis is a Greek musician and poet, born in Thessaloniki, in 24/3/1948.


    Owner of the "legendary" 80's punk/rock club "Sofita" (Σοφίτα) in Athens, that was open from 1980 to 1984.

    At school, he formed a band named 'Les Etoiles'. While being a student, he formed a band named 'Saints', where he was the singer & keyboardist.

    After that, he will live in Germany for some months during 1971 and when he will came back to Greece he will form Ηρακλής & DNA a folk-progressive band which will only released a 7" single. With the demise of Ηρακλής & DNA, he will make Ηρακλής & Λερναία Ύδρα (in 1972), with whom he will release 2 LP albums in the early 80s. After his club Sofita closed down, he will appear to various record releases in Greece and from time to time he will activate his Λερναία Ύδρα band in order to play in various clubs.
