About

Brazilian rap duo from São Paulo consisting of Dexter (Marcos Fernandes de Omena) and Afro-X (Cristian de Souza Augusto). The group was formed in Carandiru prison, where the two members shared the same cell. The group name also comes from that prison. 509-E was the name of the cell block where the group was imprisoned.

After releasing two albums, Provérbios 13 in 2000 and MMII DC (2002 Depois de Cristo) in 2002, the group broke up in 2003. Both members started solo careers.
