A Day To Remember

A Day to Remember are an American metalcore and pop punk band from Ocala, Florida, formed in 2003. Led by vocalist Jeremy McKinnon alongside guitarist Tom Dennyson, bassist Joshua Woodard, and various drummers, the band combined metalcore's heavy instrumentation and aggressive vocals with pop-punk melodies and hooks, creating music that appealed to both hardcore metal fans and casual pop listeners. And Their Name Was Treason (2006) and For Those Who Have Heart (2007) established the band's sound within the metalcore underground. Zombie EP (2008) and Homesick (2009) brought them to wider attention, particularly What Separates Me from You (2010), which reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 and featured some of the band's most commercially successful singles, particularly The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle. Common Courtesy (2013) and Bad Vibrations (2016) continued the band's commercial trajectory, with Bad Vibrations becoming their highest-charting album. Artificial Construct (2021) saw them continuing their well-established formula while incorporating more diverse production approaches. A Day to Remember have become one of the biggest acts in modern metalcore and pop-punk, with a devoted fanbase particularly among teenage and young adult audiences. Their live shows are known for their energy and McKinnon's commanding stage presence. They remain one of the commercial driving forces in heavy alternative rock.
