A Secret River

Tracing their roots all the way back to 1995, when drummer John Bergstrand and bassist Andreas Ålöv became friends, A Secret River stand in a proud tradition of swedish prog music. 2014 saw the band release their debut album, ”Colours of Solitude” to very good reviews. With A Secret River, the song is always in focus, even if the prog elements are there if you listen for them. The band consists of: John Bergstrand (drums and percussion) Björn Sandberg (keyboards) Andreas Ålöv (bass, guitars, vocals and additional keyboards) Seven years may have passed since the release of ”Colours of Solitude”, but the music never stopped flowing. 2021 sees the band returning to the scene with a new single, ”Celestial Fields”, to be followed later on by a full-length album.
