German rap duo consisting of Sido and B-Tight. Formerly known as Royal TS, they changed their name after the split with their old label Royal Bunker in July 2000. Since they didn't think their name to be important, the two decided to simply turn on the TV and pick the first word they heard, which turned out to be "aids". As a nod to their rap crew Die Sekte (The Sect), they turned "aids" into the backronym "A.i.d.S." for "Alles ist die Sekte" (All is the sect).
