Adala is Guillem Simó's musical mask. Born in the neighborhood of Torre Baró and later moved to the center of the city, Adala begins to build himself by talking about the many faces of Barcelona, the city where his steps begin and where he begins to make a name for himself between festivals of neighborhood and concerts in the Sound System scene.
Jamaican references such as Burning Spear, Ini Kamoze, Israel Vibration or Black Uhuru inspire the musical style cultivated together with his blood brother Quim Simó (King Siva) and Otger Ibars. His family, of whom he always expresses that he is an eternal tribute, also provide him with references in singer-songwriter music and Latin American poetry such as Mercedes Sosa, Eduardo Galeano, Violeta Parra or Athaualpa Yupanqui, fundamental teachers of his way of writing and understand the art of the word.
Adala's lyrics and music, over time, will enter the hearts and minds of people until they become one of the groups you can find in a lot of festivals, halls and major parties in the territory.
